The Great Elephant Migration
The Great Elephant Migration is a travelling public art installation that tells the story of coexistence between people and wildlife through 100 life-sized elephant sculptures, handcrafted by Indigenous artisans from India using invasive lantana roots.
The initiative has brought together an incredible community of artists, conservationists and influential voices from around the world, including Cher, Diane von Furstenberg, Kristin Davis, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anoushka Shankar and Dr. Sylvia Earle, all supporting its message of conservation and coexistence.
I've been honoured to be a small part of this extraordinary initiative as a volunteer host, herd partner and collaborator, helping share its message of conservation and community.
