Narayana Health

Although this project never made it into production, it began with a simple observation: I couldn't find locally available scrubs designed specifically for paediatric healthcare professionals. I created a pattern filled with tiny, detailed illustrations so that children waiting during an examination would have little things to spot, discover and chat about with their doctor or nurse.

Top: The pattern was designed to extend beyond scrubs and could be adapted for a variety of hospital spaces and applications. Different colourways could be developed further.

Bottom: Individual illustrations from the pattern were also repurposed into a sticker sheet that children could receive after their hospital visit as a small keepsake for a brave day.

A simple extension of the project was this colourful document file, designed to make even the paperwork feel a little friendlier in the paediatric ward.

Dr. Devi Shetty is one of India's most renowned cardiac surgeons and the founder and chairman of Narayana Health. This illustration, titled King of Hearts, was created for him as a tribute to his remarkable contribution to cardiac care.
